The company is owned exclusively by Panagiotis Dakos’ family, with family members holding key positions in the company.

HELIOS Pasta Industry produces high quality pasta made from 100% durum wheat semolina or alternative grains. Furthermore, we produce and trade innovative “special” pasta such as: Espressi (quick-cooking) pasta ready in less than 2’, Organic Pasta and Whole Wheat organic Pasta, vegetable pasta with tomato and spinach, whole wheat pasta, a tasty Gluten Free Pasta range, and authentic Couscous. Recently, we announced the launch of organic, vegetable and legumes pasta, recognizing the trend for healthy, yet, delicious pasta alternatives.
In addition, our kid-do pasta, an amazing children pasta range designed for fun and educational purposes is being enriched with two whole wheat products, the first ever in the Greek market. We have to mention at this point, that HELIOS has developed and offers 2 unique products, namely the Greek alphabet pasta under the Kid-do range, as well as an awesome product with 13 extraordinary specially designed shapes inspired by Hercules (the Greek mythological hero) and his 12 labors. With these products, HELIOS offers the children and their parents a great fun and learning experience while enjoying a nutritious delicious meal.
Our range of Emmer-Farro Dicocco wheat pasta was launched in the market in 2019 and recently awarded at the Healthy Diet Awards ceremony, as product of the year in Vegan category. Thanks to HELIOS pasta remarkable taste and commitment to unrivaled quality, the company has been awarded with the Superior Taste Award for 27 times, for the design of its packaging 9 times and the Tagliatelle gluten free pasta was awarded at the Free from Food Awards.
Since 2011, HELIOS Pasta Industry participates in the International Taste Institution competition (www.iti.com), which is based in Brussels, and has been awarded with many golden stars and the Superior Taste Awards for the remarkable taste and quality of our products, such as: the Vegetable Orzo (2*), the Whole Wheat Elbow Rigate (2*), the Organic Spaghetti 6 (2*), the Organic Orzo (3*), the Roumeliotiko Egg & Milk Noodles (2*), the Vegetable Penne Rigate (1*) and Tagliatelle with spinach (1*). The year 2015 Combo Pennete rigate was awarded as well. In 2017 Vegetable Orzo (2*), Organic Spaghetti 6 (2*) & Organic Spaghetti Espressi (2*) were awarded. In 2019 Trahanas (2*), Organic cut medium (1*), Spaghetti whole wheat (2*), Gluten free Spaghetti (2*) and Orzo medium (2*) were also awarded. And recently, in the 2020 awards, we proudly received gold stars for all of our products sent to the competition, namely: Hercules (1*), Gluten free Tagilatelle (1*), Gluten free Orzo (1*), Organic Tagliatelle (2*), Pene rigatte Organic from Emmer Faro Dicocco wheat pasta (2**), Vegetable Twist (1*), Spaghetti 6 Organic from Emmer Faro Dicocco wheat pasta (1*), Authentic CousCous (2**) and Linguine (2**) .

Since 1932, we focus on producing superior quality and applying continuous innovation not only in Greece, but in all the markets we serve, all over the world. We supply more than 80 shapes of pasta, at stable excellent product quality, in all categories. We have a large flexibility and control in production, and we can be very competitive in terms of costs and formats.
Our products are produced in Greece, under the golden Greek sun, and as our land is packed with excellent raw materials of extraordinary quality our unique taste semolina makes for our unparalleled, delicious pasta.
We implement the Food Safety Management System (FMS) according to ISO 22000: 2005 (HA.C.C.P), and Quality Assurance System by ISO 9001:2015, certified by the International Agency TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS.
In addition, we have HALAL certification from IFANCA, which is particularly important for many markets. Organic HELIOS pasta series is certified according to N834/2007 of the Audit & DIO Certification (www.dionet.gr) and according to the USDA NOP requirements of equivalence. We have been certified with IFS Food V6 certified (Higher level score). For whole wheat pasta we are allowed to use the US Whole Grain brand Council, as 100% whole wheat Products.
