We are a family business based in the village of Aghia Varvara, Heraklion, Crete, Greece. Aghia Varvara is a mountainous village centrally located in the island of Crete in a region abundant in olive groves. We are very close to Heraklion, the major city of the island with a port serving the east Mediterranean and Greece, a strategic advantage that boosts olive oil trade.
Our family has been farming and trading olive oil and other agricultural products for many generations. In 2013, we installed and began operations of our brand new olive oil bottling and labelling unit. So far we have successfully placed our products in the Greek and foreign markets.
Savouidakis Cretan Foods is a true family-run business which for generations has been active in the production and trade of quality olive oil and other food products in the island of Crete.
